The Japanese Garden Poem by Twisted Moon

The Japanese Garden

Rating: 4.0

The rustling of the leaves,
The trickling of the water,
The chirping of the birds,
The cool wind in my hair,
The warm sun at my back,

How could a cynical person like me write in conditions such as these?
Even I appreciate this.

I came to write my feelings,
But my feelings aren't this,
My feelings aren't bliss.

I'll leave here soon,
And i'll soak myself in sorrow,
So if you want someting worth reading,
Come back again tomorrow.

When i'm lonely and depressed,
When i'm jealous and obsessed,
When i'm angry and a mess,
My heart will be confessed.

When i'm lost and i'm tired,
I will then be inspired,
When i'm unhealthy and obese,
With a filthy head of grease,
I will write to you then,

But not now, because I am happy and at peace.
