The Jester Weeps Poem by Walter C. Edwards

The Jester Weeps

The jester weeps for me,
sorrow deep he cries,
I ask why,
he answers can’t you see,
you are a fool in love,
with one that will never care for you,
in the way you need to be,
loved fully and faithfully,
delighted and excited with romance,
a deep kiss of ones sweet lips,
late into the night,
laying next to you with no fear or flight,
but a soft loving embraces,
so who is that fool in love,
it is you it is you.
