The Journey So Far. Poem by Tony Adah

The journey of a thousand miles
They say begins with only a step
I can walk well now that I'm not a toddler
I can walk tall now that my third leg
Is yet to be used.

Though the journey thus far has been rough
The number of times I have stumbled and fallen
And risen have made me stronger than I began
I am going floating in the air
Soaring high into the azure sky
Where the strong eagles are taking a rest
There, that is where I want to be!
