The Judgmental Candidate Poem by Randy McClave

The Judgmental Candidate

She's running for a commission of my city
And she's really sexy and also very pretty,
But, for her campaign I will not ever promote
Because she's not going to ever get my vote.
She ran for the office a couple years before
For everyone's vote with hate she did deplore,
She had violently attacked another commissioners past
Which God had forgiven, but she continued to harass.
Having a pretty face doesn't always show what's deep inside
Because inside there's greed, hate, sin, lust and pride,
Before a person or a reputation someone wants to smear
They better first look at themselves in their very own mirror.
She had brought up his past of what he did with a, "Wow! "
But, seemingly she forgets what she is doing now,
In his past is the only place that you will find any dirt
While all along she will tease and pose and seductively flirt.
A preacher might have a sinful past like the apostle Paul
Then unto the lord in forgiveness he will give the Lord a call,
With his love the Lord Jesus will forgive the sinner of their past
While a sinner would want that time and memory to last.
I believe always to forget and then to forgive
And also to always happily live and to let others peacefully live,
But, her rules are different when she plays the game
It is to always bring doubt and shame unto an adversaries name.
They proclaim they are Christians by going to church and singing a hymn
But, then unchristian like she's always attacking him,
The only time she has ever turned the other cheek is with a smirk
That is when men are watching her, and she does a twerk.
