The beauty of the landscape, lake –
A thousand cameras cannot take;
The contours of the mountains, vale –
Can captivate hearts, without fail.
‘You cannot steal the apples,
The Vale of India grows;
You dare not claim the glory,
To India, valley owes.’
The Kashmiris are Indians,
By birth and to the core;
They live in peace with nature,
God protects them the more.
The beauty of the valley,
No words had ev’r described;
The mountain-sides and alley,
Are nature’s balms prescribed.
No bullets scare the people
Who live in fear of death;
Some neighbors eye the apple –
The sign of joy and mirth.
The foes near-by spread lies
And intrude in the vale;
Terrorists in disguise,
Roam the land, hill, dale.
But Kashmir’s heart is Indian,
No matter what some tell;
The love is bharathiya.
The soil, Indian as well.
Jai Hind; Jai Bharat!
