Behold a man who wrote stories of wondrous tales galore,
And wrote about the victories of Oliver and more.
Yet one night, by the Lord's design, he told his son the tale
About God's Son, who proved divine, a baby born so frail.
And once His youthful years passed by, that boy became a man.
Baptised by John, then from the sky, God's Spirit shared God's plan.
Once called aside, the Devil came to tempt the Son God sent,
Lord Jesus honored God's great name, and on His way, He went.
Disciples joined Him on His quest, as He began to teach,
And witnessed as He did His best with parables to preach.
Christ's miracles were plentiful, and crowds of people heard,
And saw Jesus as honorable, a man who kept His word.
Christ's enemies had gathered, too, and planned their evil crime,
When Judas came to see it through at God's appointed time.
That's how it came to pass one day, Christ had to suffer loss,
When whipped to tear His flesh away, nailed to a crimson Cross.
His Mother wept for Jesus there when He climbed Calvary's hill,
For all Man's sins, He had to bear, and why He stayed there still.
One Man, one Cross, one destiny, one tale when death took hold!
Lord Jesus outlived Calvary, the greatest story ever told!

The Gospel poem is about an animated family film
of Charles Dickens' retelling of that first Easter.
Behold the Lord Jesus Christ. Loved by billions of
believers today as the Savior of the World!
Jesus is the King of Calvary! The King of Love
and the King of Kings!
