The Lady On The Bus Poem by Emma Woods

The Lady On The Bus

Her hair is like a rippling fire
Her lips are small and thin
Her eyes are stern yet oh so warm
Her stare is welcoming
Her jeans are blue and fitted tight
Her coat is black and loose
Her skin is pale in the light
Her eyes shine green and blue
Her hands look soft with long fingers
Her walk is like a dream
But now she's far from my reach
She did not leave a thing
It could be just anyone to fit these words
She could be just a sin
But what a creature to believe
When she is all I see
