The Land Of Crazy Dongo Poem by Cleveland W. Gibson

The Land Of Crazy Dongo

Look:
The streets shine Dragon Gold,
Blue monkey’s teeth chatter,
Children do what they’re told.

It's a land of hidden wonder,
Where to find the way of life,
Often comes the real danger,
That’s shown in all Earth’s strife.

See: The Dragon rules the skies,
After dropping from the trees,
Bad birds chase travellers,
To force them to their knees.

The Ark from the Bible plunges,
Pure victim to the Flood,
Look! The signal be the rocket,
That stems all flow of Blood.

The Red Cloud is the killer,
It must not be denied,
But can it hassle everyone?
True. Yes until he dies.

The Roman Captain meets the call,
Arms, men and his words of hope,
All fit into the master plan,
May prayers surge to the Pope.

This Land of Crazy Dongo,
Is there for us each day,
But only Brave Hearts journey,
And Foolish Fools must stay.
