The Last Letter Poem by Sanket Adhikari

The Last Letter

You are happy so I am happy
Now nothing really matters to me.
You have rearranged your life, far from pain
Here I'm all alone, crying in vain.
It's killing me with every breath
Witnessing the life I left.
Thought you would found me drowning
Will pull me from my deepest end,
It hurts knowing that I was so wrong
So I'm just trying to cut out the pain.
No one ever felt any pain like me
The pain that growing inside of me
Trying hard to supress it, it is not letting me be
Who I am in reality.
Ingratiation in your definition
Substituted me from our integration.
I will miss the world of fragile things
And will mostly miss the sweet glimpse of your eye blinks.
You don't know what a subtle mistake you did to yourself
Now I can feel me in your arms holding my last breath safe inside myself
All the thoughts of you, sweet rapture light
It ends here tonight.
