Peace Demon Poem by Sanket Adhikari

Once there was a peace demon
Dressed in white,
Who always tried to hunt our very own anarchy.
He had the omnipotence to spread love,
To make people unite,
To make the chaos quite.
He wanted to exterminate our fortress of lies
Without inclination towards incantation
He wanted to start an insubordination.
How could we be able to do this to us?
Where people are being united!
Where the chaos is being quitted!
In the name of saving people, by making them unsaved
We allied with deception and cruelty
To originate an anti-peace authority.
We somehow had to kill and destroy him
To save the all mighty hate and hypocrisy
To keep up the flow of the river of theocracy.
At last we did it.
We tied the rope of war around his neck
And kicked his throne out,
And now the world is free from peace.
