The Last Magnolia Flower Poem by Marilyn Lott

The Last Magnolia Flower

Rating: 5.0

THE LAST MAGNOLIA FLOWER

How I enjoyed the magnolias
As they bloomed all summer long
They are very resilient it seems
Their stems are so very strong.

And the fragrance, oh my friend
There is a delightful lemony smell
I close my eyes in wonder
My nose to the flower will dwell.

I thought they were complexly over
No blooms till spring or summer showers
But I looked out today and saw
What must be the last Magnolia flower!

I'm so glad you enjoyed my poem, thank you for reading it. I want to change the picture on the one before this but can't seem to. I read your instructions over but didn't seem to work out. I am so limited in here! ;)
