So long as I live
I will need the lines to come
An addiction perhaps
As if there still were some hope of justification
In words and more words
Thoughts and more thoughts
Lines and more lines-

The last poem will never be written
Until I cannot force the words from me
Until I have lost my mind
Whether living or dead
So long as I live and breathe and have the power in me
The last poem will never be written
