The Leaf Poem by Sebastian Melmoth

The Leaf

Rating: 5.0

Leaf falls from the autumn tree
Fluttering in the wind like a busy bee

Dancing to the ground
Soulful, gracefully abound

Leaf caressed cushioned on air
Swirling to nature's Flare

Skin so soft the colours of the seasons
Light up its journey full of reasons

With purpose and inevitable cause
The environments applause

Touching the ground they meet they kiss
Connection made in total bliss

For the army of leaves they don't go in vein
They patiently wait until we meet again
