The Lies Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

The Lies

The lies

In times I, wish was not
A man of books, reading,
And had no schooling
With degrees…

If so, I, could have been
Simply, mind free
Of the world and being
With questions: "Why is it? "
"How can be? " "Who did it? "

One of things that moved me
Was knowing of cannons
And the known classics
Shakespeare's and Bible.

"Both are good, readable
But are lies collected,
And authored, edited
To fool the audience! "
Said two of professors.

I agree when look in
Classics and cannons.

People paid donations
And taxes to rulers
To use it for their lives.

Instead, the cheaters
Used, spent a portion
On what is mutilated
In the name of Bible!

To know more and digest
What told me professors
Reread the Shakespeare
Also, the most published
And abused by the church
In way of critiques, critical,
In search of origins and basis.
