The Lifeless Body Poem by Deli honeter

The Lifeless Body

From my heart to others,
from my face covered in trashed mascara to there's..
From his stopping heart beat, to mine racing out of my chest,
My hands shaking, and fidgeting, to his losing strength, courage.

Tears filling the room, panic rising, as does the sound of the sirens.
Disbelief of reality, despear creeping in the walls.
Life standing around the room,
surrounding a newly lifeless body.
screaming inside the lonely walls of my head
begging the life to come back into the body
begging the body to move as if it had its strength back,
as if it were to be refilled with the courage and selflessness it once had.
Alone in the mind, was then changed to alone in the world.
