The Lilac And The Lavender Poem by Vera Sidhwa

The Lilac And The Lavender

The Lilac and the Lavendar

The lilac kissed the lavender
And the lavender it.
In the garden of delights
This wasn't that unusual.

The rose watched this with wonderment
Because it was himself that was THE one.
He was the only one with beauty.
No one could out do him.

As I walked and skipped around this garden,
I wanted and needed so many flowers.
I touched the lilac and the lavender,
And took home many of them.
