The Line Poem by Constance Williams

The Line

Rating: 3.0

Take out pencil and paper.

Draw a circle with the letter marked A on the left and B on the right.

Now draw a straight line from A to B.

When following out hearts...

the shortest distance between two points is always a short line.

Sign posts like Love, Truth and Integrity help guide us along our way.

Like traveling down a one way street we collide with people and circumstances that not only deter us, but sometimes leave us spinning out of control forcing us onto a different course.

Do not be discouraged though. Know that from even this point and no matter where we are along that circumference a straight line can always lead you to the next point.

Sometimes we read poems, so we enjoy them. And sometimes we read poems, so we benefit from them, and enjoy them. and that's what I saw in this poem. thanks.
