The Little Girl - Poem by Violet Carson

The little girl watched
Secluded, Behind
She saw all the people
And they all seemed so blind
She thought to herself
“They don’t understand
All the great things
That cover this land”
And it made the girl sad
To see people this way
So she let go
And flew off, away
