Those Who Wish Poem by Violet Carson

Those Who Wish

A hundred knives
And just one tear
One soul dies
Can you hear?
A hundred lies
Filled with hurt
A young man lies
Just off the pier
A woman screams
And in her fear
She calls for you
Answer dear.
A warrior falls
All alone
He heeds the calls
Are you near?
A lost soul goes
And meets her fear
That’s when she knows
There’s no life here.

It just dribbled down the page, very nicely done.
