The Little Mighty Earth Poem by Usman Hanif

our Earth is expanding like the universe
the wider it gets the denser it becomes
a single skyscraper might bother u like a fly
but a bunch of them would pass the sun by!
the rooftops would become the ground
and the ground would transform into oceanbed
the ball would become a football
all buried in earth, the birds would fall
we would walk in the air
and live in the dead dragon's lair
the sun would revolve around earth
it would be the ruling planet ever heard
but the life would be burnt on earth
everywhere the roasting flesh on hearth
earth would provide the light
but no worth we get from it
the time, probably has to come
but until then i would be done...
