The Little Prince Simba Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

The Little Prince Simba

In the tall and lonely grass beside the busy street,
A tiny black kitten stood on unsteady feet.
With one eye dark and the other mostly blind,
He waited for a savior, the gentle and the kind.

Then Dawn walked by with a heart so big and wide,
And brought the little wanderer safely inside.
She gave him a name for a king so brave and grand,
The luckiest little prince in all the local land.

Now Simba rules the house from his cozy little throne,
No longer in the weeds, and no longer all alone.
With Odie by his side and sweet Susie checking in,
A brand new happy chapter is ready to begin.

He walks by scent and sound, and he listens for your voice,
And every single day he makes our loving home rejoice.
A shadow in the parlor, a bundle full of grace,
The sweetest little prince in his perfect, happy place.
