The Lonely Sea Poem by Aplier Hao

The Lonely Sea

The sea is vast,
An empty plain.
A basin full,
Of salty rain.

Just me and you,
Out here alone.
Oh great being,
We're here to roam.

We have no one,
But each other.
Nobody to,
Call a brother.

But you I lost,
From dumb mistakes.
I went to far,
I tried to take.

I lost you to,
Other beings.
I killed us both,
By not seeing.

I could have saved,
The two of us.
I got greedy,
I thought I must.

I'm now alone,
And truly so.
I made mistakes,
And now they show.
