The Long Day Waits - Poem by Shalom Freedman

THE LONG DAY WAITS

The long day waits
Nothing is written
The words begin
I am not alive yet
Soon soon
Slowly
Words
Life
This poem
Another beginning
Another day.

Will it mean anything
Or just be
More passing time
as Eternity?
