The Lord Of The Universe Poem by Mahathi Mydavolu

The Lord Of The Universe

Why do you trust the human being, then rue
And rue and rue? You have a predicament
Your got a pain, you had a loss. No cue
No clue you have, not even some foul scent!

You run around Godmen, babas, fakirs
And saints with beards touching their feet. You climb
The hills and comb the woods for mystic seers.
God got no agents dear... you're wasting time.

Believe me friend, they're mortal souls, unripe
And stony spirits. They're bodies mere with blood
And flesh and nothing else. They create a hype
To flaunt the heavens high in dirty mud.

Instead, believe in the God, who may be late
But surely He alone can change your fate.
