If we could test the very core,
Of Jesus, then what would it show?
DNA, just like us before and now
From lands where ancient rivers flow.
A human map, a normal spread,
Of genes that make a person whole.
No alien code, but flesh and head,
A human spirit, human soul.
But a question lingers, soft and deep,
About the father, where did he come from?
If spirit's seed did sow and keep,
How was the male part then begun?
A special gift, a new design,
Or a miracle we can't quite see?
This male line's trace, a truth divine,
A biological mystery.
Some cloth claims blood, a type we know,
But time's touch makes it hard to say.
Can ancient traces truly show,
What happened on that distant day?
His mother's line, a thread so fine,
Through ancient lands, the DNA.
To mothers past, a clear design,
From Mary's ancient genetic line.
His broader roots, a map unfurled,
To eastern lands, a Middle East blend.
With people of that ancient world,
A shared and wide ancestral trend.
King David's name, a royal sound,
The Bible tells, a lineage long.
Genetics maybe show the ground,
But proof of kings, we can't make strong.
For ancient kings, no samples stay,
To match the patterns we would find.
So human, yes, in a simple way,
With ancient echoes in his kind.
