The Lotus In Themuddypond Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

The Lotus In Themuddypond

Rating: 5.0

The lotus begins
as a bud
below the surface
in the muddy water.

The core remains
untainted regardless
ofthe enviornment
in which Its life began.

None of thePetals
ever touch the
the dirty water.

When it is ready to flower,
the bud pushes
through the water
and opens to kiss and hug
the sun's beautiful rays.

Regardless of our beginning, we can live a neat life if we are determined. Beautiful
