The Loudest Woman Here Poem by Velvet Mohamed

The Loudest Woman Here

Here he comes like always, my shining knight
He comes greeting everyone from his biggest fight
Frowning bows, teary eyes, and bloody skin
A tiny brain so he'll think he has been forgiven
Yet for him, our whole history is just a little sin

My shining knight needs to be saved
I give myself all up as you've craved
But without me, my knight has escaped
I find the back of my dress bloodstained
From your unplanned stap, my heart faints

I scream at you 'Don't you even hesitate'
stepping on the life that for you, I Dedicate
It's like you don't know the woman you underestimate
Hide in the dark from me yet I can see you shake
then come, and be with me but again, you'll fade

Your idea of hell is being with me
Mine is a minute without you, my dear
The pain you caused me is not setting me free
The eyes I trusted to let me be
Left my heart with a missing piece
