The Love I Couldn't Meet Poem by Babalola Jubril

The Love I Couldn't Meet

Rating: 5.0

I saw the tides moving,
She was staying behind,
Staring at the water moving clockwisely,
There! besides the tides,
I saw my love,

Her perfect beauty covered my eyes,
Blind my consciousness,
I couldn't help the situation,
Seeing her taking away by the tides,

On a water day,
where air seems to be moving by water,
The cloud is clear,
No traces of impurity,
She bends behind a pole,
Three o' clock to my side,
There! besides a man,
I saw my love,

My unconsciousness result to my loss,
I couldn't meet my love,
And say HI!
My darling eyes couldn't meet her honey eyes,
Blindness has made me loss her visibility,
I will wait at the bank,
Sit helplessly at the pole,
Till I meet my love again.
