The Love Of My Romeo (Sonnet #123) Poem by Tina Baaklini

The Love Of My Romeo (Sonnet #123)

We wished, prayed; the sky heard, God fulfilled.
Blessed and cherished are lovers' sacrifices.
Only with honesty can love's bridges be built.
Powerful is love; it melts mountains of ices.

My heart can't get enough of loving you.
We flow within each other as sunset hues.
With warmth and tenderness, you paint my sky blue.
At night, proudly glows lady moon, the poets' muse.

Gardens grow in your heart with unique scents.
A queen, my soul feels with you, sweet soulmate.
My heart runs to you without my consent,
For the breeze of your love soothes and alleviates.

I want whoever reads my lines to know,
Words fail to paint the great love of my Romeo.
