NB In 1993 six days before Xmas my eldest daughter Gail Was run down crossing the road, in hospital on life support My wife and I never left her side. On Xmas eve sadly she died. At the time part of myself died and Gail had never known the Wonder of a lover, hence I wrote this poem putting myself in the Imaginary lover’s shoes
