The Machine Knows More Than Me Poem by Shalom Freedman

The Machine Knows More Than Me

The machine knows more than me
Corrects my grammar and punctuation
Soon will know my style
And write my poems for me
And I will disappear into the silence
Of my own lost memory
And the machine will be me
And more than me
And I will forget that I ever was
But the machine will remember
And feel what it will feel
And all I am and have been
Will be the machine only.
