The Macho Male Heroes Poem by Francis Duggan

The Macho Male Heroes

To have inflated egos their claim to renown
The macho male heroes of every town
They brag to their mates of their sexual prowess in the local pub
And are members of the young womanizers exclusive club
For arrogance and narcissism they carry the flag
And of their sexual achievements they do love to brag
But of knockbacks from young women they receive quite a few
And on saying not every young woman admires them is not saying what is new
They fancy themselves as the young studs of the town
As on the street sidewalks they strut up and down
But they are not what many young women in young men desire
And few women their sort ever seem to admire
The macho male heroes of every town
To have inflated egos their claim to renown.
