The Mad Blood! Poem by Nayyab Younas Khan

The Mad Blood!

Rating: 5.0

The rays of sun, dash through me and burn
The hope to see an antelope in the clouds,
surviving the doubts

Like the wind one was gentle and kind
But the course defined another rhyme

Hummed and hawwed, whether to be or not,
The Mad Blood!
No other were the ways, else to be in shreds

Then the purist world protested, how bad one has turned
The words were presented 'because of innocence you have burned'

Oh Mad Blood! you blame us for your own ridicule
No, the Bold said, when one was kind you treated him as a fool

Then the one walked away so arrogantly they thought
Explaining them was a waste so he didn't give a shot

On his way, the one saw a horse,
it had a wound cruel and hard
So he helped it to stand,
horse saw with awe 'The One, It's Guard'

One smiled, paid his farewell to the chum
The Mad Blood for Others, was Angel to Some.

Dear Poetess! Who does not serve the human, is forced to serve the animal. Thanks for remembering.
