The Man And His Umbrella Poem by Justin Gildow

The Man And His Umbrella

Rating: 5.0

It's a sunny day in the city
And flowers are for sale on the sidewalk
They all look lovely

The man and his umbrella strolls through
the city
He walks strangely
Yet, I have to say that I like how he walks
Just like a penguin

I've seen him around
In this city
At a club
Many other places as well

I value my life too much to get
involved with him
However, I can tell
He's on his way
He's got a plan
I can tell he wants to be king of
this city
Maybe he'll get there
Sometime, someday
One day
One of these days
