The Man In The Dock! Poem by G. Akanji Olaniyi

The Man In The Dock!

He is the man the in the dock
An embodiment of a society that we all mock
Gestures similar to a spoil brat
He is larger than an eighteen-carat
Eyes filled with pride
He may soon push this aside
Ransacking through his loots
Can we say we all lost so more boots?
What about the faithful prayers
Do not forget the knowledgeable soothsayers
Will this be the test for the change?
Is the future nearly in range?
I know not the answer
May this process give the answer!
