The Man Of My Country. Poem by Tony Adah

The Man Of My Country.

A man that has ears
But doesn't hear
A man that has eyes
But doesn't see
A man that is hungry
And can not see food
A man that is thirsty
And can not see water to drink
This the citizen of my country
Flowing with milk and honey
Still the citizens scramble for satchet water.
