I look to my future
And don’t know what I see.

I thought it was with you,
I was as wrong as can be.

I want a house, a real home,
A husband and cat.

Someone to love me,
And someone to love back.

To have forever,
To have and to hold.

Someone who is honest,
Loving and sincere.

Someone who is faithful,
Monogamous and true.

Someone I can believe in,
And look up too.

Someone who will treat me as I ought,
Not someone to abuse me,
Who thinks I’ve been bought.

A man who is confident, sure of himself,
Knows what he wants, without a doubt.

Someone who has the courage, to say I do,
Someone that can honestly,
Say I love you.

Someone who has morals,
And goes to church.

The man that God, has chosen for me,
This, is the man that I seek.

You are the one, you know it is true,
If you would just put your fears away,
And be true.

For my love.... of a lifetime
