The Maraton Poem by jackie compton

The Maraton

Rating: 4.8

Life is a Marathon.
That you only get to enter once.
A contest of endurance.
Ran by both the weak and the strong.
From birth we all run toward the finish line.
Never know when we will cross it.

In time we all will stumble and fall.
But we must get up and keep running.
For life is a marathon.
A contest of endurance.
That we only get one chance to run.
The distant that we must run is measured in brief moments

The time that we are given to run it.
It is unknown to us.
But still we must run it in that time.
There is no looser only winners.
For each individual will be the first to cross the finish line.
In their own life time.

From birth we all run toward the finish line Never know when we will cross it. But, slowly and surely, we all will cross it some day! Nice work, Jackie, thanks for sharing!
