The Mask Slips Poem by Paul Warren

The Mask Slips

Open your heart for once
Even if you feel a dunce
For you will know in the end
And then to seek to comprehend

What really matters to all
Is to be at peace in love's recall
For when the mask does slip
Maybe the truth is you are not up to it.
