The Memory Of... - Poem by JeanPierre Barakat

Love does not discriminate:
Love simply is...

You will say the final words
You will pull down the final curtain
Of our existence, our crazy quest...
The world will stand still then,
In awe; and I will remember...
What has been said will remain
A treasure in our hearts,
What was left unsaid will live on
And carry hope into the next
Reunion of our kindred souls...
One more glimpse at your face,
One more time, lips entwine lips:
I am at peace, I smile...
Do you know that angels
Never say goodbye?
Angels are always around...
