The Mirror Poem by Erica Buxton

The Mirror

Rating: 3.5

I stand in front of the mirror.
Looking at what people see of me.
Not what I see of me.
Not what people should see of me.
People should look at someone and judge
them by what they do and what their actions are.
Not what they look like or how they dress.
None of that matters.
Only thing that matters is,
the thing that no one seems to care about.
