alessandra
though a poetess in
her own right
still entertains
misgivings
against paul who brought
her in an isolated
island
taking a boat
just the two of them
for there
he only asked her
to gaze at the moon
which had shown
brightly that night

love did nothing
to wipe the wetness of
her lips....
