The Moment Poem by Jeremy Brewer

The Moment

Mesmerized, I sat,
eyes in a stare.
As the moment filled with awe.

Breathless I watched,
stunned, without motion.
As she slowly sang a sweet ballet,
that softly caressed my ears.

Hypnotized, I listened.
As visions were formed in my mind,
of beauty I have never known.

Emotional, I wept.
As her voice began to fade away,
and the images danced their last steps.
My thoughts rushed back to me.

The moment had gone past.
