The Monsoon Drop Poem by arthivap sivakumar

The Monsoon Drop

Rating: 5.0

I was ambling through the lane,
which was as narrow as a corporeal's mind.
I was filled with lonesomeness and bane.
i was verklempt.

But it was the sky which shed tears instead.
I glanced up to find the cloud gray.
I realized that it was a monsoon drop.
The drop made me ponder about nature,
the great teacher,
which taught us the lesson of equality.

The trees and rivers which provide us food
and water without being partial.
pondering this i shouted with exclamation
"oh nature, how could you be awfully good! "
