The Monster Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

The Monster

I touched the flower
And ruined its petals
I played with its colours
Enjoyed the sound of metals

I stole away its scent
And left it stark naked
I have a ruthless heart
Emotionless and wicked

I killed the beauty
Held in an innocent life
I am the destroyer born
To spread blood and strife

I crushed the flower
Let it burn in the dust
I know no love and peace
I don't have faith and trust
