The Moon, My Lady Of The Night

The moon, angel of the night
Speaks to me in my loneliness
She is so bright and high
Sitting in the sky, watching over me

Why am I here
When she is above my head
The night is the only time
When she and I ever meet

She is not mine but to a million
But I'll be hers, only hers alone
She may not be there for me in day
But I'll am there no matter the night or day

She the moon lady
So bright and beautiful
Will watch over me
Making my life so full.
