The Moon Said I'm Sorry Poem by Ignacio Quijano

Tonight the most amazing thing happened to me but when you hear what I have to say you will probably think and say that I am crazy and I understand because that's what I said to myself tonight on my way back home from work walking a few blocks away from my home for no reason i look up to the sky and saw half moon🌓 and next to it a shiny star🌟 at first I got a crazy thought and with a smile thought the moon is at sleep and drooling🤤 but then it was like someone said to me look upside-down idiot and I saw the Moon crying😢 the moon was not at sleep drooling it was crying and I start crying😢 and this is the part that I think is amazing but also the part where you'll think i am crazy l thought what if I give a voice to La Luna🌕 [the Moon] what would lu loona said to me if i ask why? why would you cry? That was my question thinking and the moon answer me crying😢 said I'm So Sorry you felt my sadness😢 I didn't mean to it's just that from up here i see and hear everything and as you notice me I too feel your sadness maybe you and I are not so different Luna said I am surrounded by infinite stars✨✨ suns ☀️☀️Moons🌕🌕 and planets🌎🌏 and you are definitely not surrounded by infinite of you but definitely a bunch you and I noticed Luna try to put a smile☺️ or brave face up then I ask why would you be sad you have stars the sun the earth and other planets? and luna reply I feel alone but I just figure it out now I understand is not me it's you the moon broke out in tears😢 once again I'm So Sorry😢 that I can only Shine at night for you and screaming Luna said I'M SO SORRY THAT THERE'S NOTHING I CAN DO FOR YOU I'm So Sorry but there's something you must know i have always always been there with you the first time you were heart broken the first time you dislocate your arm and the time when the girl that rejected you past away i know you have go through some very hard moments but I also i know you have a great kind heart i apologize for my rudeness but I have to go now it's just that this hurts so much I'M SO SORRY That I make you cry remember I'm always with you just look for me at night in the sky your friend always LUNA
