The Mouse In Me Is Back Tiptoeing In The Unwary Kitchen Poem by RIC BASTASA

The Mouse In Me Is Back Tiptoeing In The Unwary Kitchen

sleep now my dearly beloved
let me hear the music of your snores
let me turn off the light of the room

let your sleep be so sound and
and comforting for by then when
everything is safe and secure

the mouse in me is back tiptoeing in
the unwary kitchen to eat what is so
luscious and delicious and so forbidden.
