The Music Of The Constellations Poem by Michael Walkerjohn

The Music Of The Constellations

The individual
self, in rapport
and luster spoke
to the mirror, the jewel
the society, the congregation
seek to expand the past link of
that which has forever gone…
Controlling outward and hidden
thoughts, immaturity, singleness
and self-unity, held within the
thread of hope and the flames
of the individual
set in earth…
That prisoner
uncontrolled
in captivity
and lost of light
whose constant change
is a fire that has the potency
and life of heart, freedom of love, and
humility, and is bound, to the end, to
unraveling individuality…
One common man, poised
and hushed within that
unpleased, unresolved
lifeless fringe of attraction within
the jewel, of life, and preservation
that individual within lost subtleties
the being of phenomena; incessant, free
blazing duality as is that purpose, within the
thought on the pathway in his heart…
To the future turned, comprising
many threaded and mutual
compulsions impressed from
perception in selflessness and
in the chain of intimate multiplicity
a body and soul from eternity, the
mirror ancient; wherein men achieve
their music of the constellations
