The Myna And The Bottlebrush Poem by Raj Arumugam

The Myna And The Bottlebrush

the bottlebrush, green
shows off
its many crimson flower-spikes
brilliant in the sunshine;
and a myna lands on a branch
and reaches out for its share;
and the two dance
in a flexible bending
as the myna follows
each slender branch
